About Friends of the Falls
ARE YOU A FRIEND? The Friends of Cumberland Falls is a newly formed organization seeking to sustain, foster and promote Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. We meet at 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of every month in various local communities.
What we do: We are interested in promoting education about the park and it's natural resources, as well as organizing community events. For example, one of our first projects we are working on is the creation of a "Christmas Celebration" in December 2008, which would include a breath-taking drive-thru display of Christmas lights and decoration. Funding for this project will come from The Friends and community partners.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE? Annual membership is $20 for a single person, $35 for a family, and $5 for students. Businesses can become members at the following levels:
